Recipe for Grilled Steak

For the best flavoured steak, marinade your Steak in the sauce of at least 8 hours before grilling.

Ingredients for Marinade Sauce

1/6 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup olive oil

¼ cup Worchester sauce

1 juicy lemon freshly squeezed (About 1/6 of a cup).

1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic

½ teaspoon minced fresh ginger

½ teaspoon black pepper powder

1 medium sized onion, chopped

 

Method  

1.    Combine the ingredients for the marinade sauce together and blend to form a paste.

2.    Place the steak in a bowl and add in the paste

3.    Turn the steak to ensure all the sides are coated

4.    Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours to allow the flavors to blend. You may also cook right away

5.    Grill the marinated steak as desired ie over charcoal or in an oven

6.    For a light steak, preheat the oven to broil and broil the steak for 10 minutes.

7.    For a thick steak, sear the steak in a pan until a golden brown crust is formed then transfer to a preheated oven of 450 degrees, flip the steak and roast for 10 minutes.

8.    After you have removed the steak from heat. Let it sit for 10 minutes before cutting.

9.    Enjoy your grilled meat
