Spring Rolls
Ingredients
Sheets
1. 1 cup all purpose flour
2. ¼ teaspoon salt
3. 2 teaspoon oil
4. 3 tablespoons corn starch
5. 1 ¼ cups of warm water
Filling
1. 3 cups cabbage shredded
2. 2 large onions cut into rings
3. 2 tablespoons olive oil
4. 1 medium sized carrot shredded
5. ¼ cup bell pepper
6. 1 curry powder
Method

1. Sieve the all purpose, salt and corn starch into a bowl and mix well.
2. Add in the warm water and whisk the batter to a thin consistency
3. Place a non stick pan on low heat and brush the surface with oil.
4. Pour in 2- 3 tablespoons of batter and tilt the pan to allow it to spread evenly
5. When the sides curl up, remove from pan and set aside
6. Repeat this with the remaining batter
Filling
1. Heat oil in a pan
2. Sauté the onions for a minute
3. Add in the cabbage, carrots and capsicum
4. Sprinkle salt and curry powder , mix well and turn off the heat.
5. Set aside
Spring Rolls
1. Place one circular sheet on your working surface
2. Spread one tablespoon of the filling alongside one edge of the sheet.
3. Carefully roll the sheet, fold in the filling and ensure that the circular edges are tucked in.
4. Seal the edges with wheat flour paste or plain water
5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan
6. Deep fry the rolls to a golden brown color
7. Drain and serve your spring rolls as desired.
