Ingredients
3 potatoes
1 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon white pepper
100g cheese sliced into four pieces
100g grated cheese
1 cup bread crumbs
Bake four slices of ham (100g)
Salt
Oil
Method
1. Wash and peel the potatoes.
2. Boil the salted potatoes and transfer into a bowl and mash.
3. Add in the coriander leaves, grated cheese and mix well.
4. Sprinkle the black and white pepper and mix well.
5. Whisk the 2 eggs into a bowl
6. In another bowl, pour in the breadcrumbs
7. Divide each of the sliced ham and cheese pieces into quarters
8. Take a small chunk of the mashed potato and form a patty.
9. Take two pieces of ham and place it on the patty, add another two pieces of the cheese, make another patty and completely cover the filling.
10. Dip the patty in the egg and ensure it is completely coated with the egg
11. Dip it in the breadcrumb and completely coat the patty with the crumbs
12. Place a skillet on heat and add in oil
13. Shallow fry the patty until golden brown and flip and cook the top the same way
14. Remove the sandwich and serve hot!
