Quick Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients

10 g sugar

10 g dry yeast

1 egg

300g sieved wheat flour                                                                                              

600 ml warm milk

1 teaspoon of salt

ΒΌ cup finely chopped green onion

1 medium sized onion finely chopped

1 medium sized potato grated and drained

100 grams cheddar cheese finely grated

Oil

 

Method

1.      In a bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, warm milk and yeast

2.      Add in the salt and wheat flour and continue whisking to a slightly thick consistency

3.      When the batter is ready cover set and aside

4.      In a separate bowl, combine the onion, green onions, potatoes, cheddar cheese and mix well.

5.      Add this combination into the batter after it has rested for 20 minutes then mix well.

6.      Place a skillet on medium heat melt a tablespoon or two of oil.

7.      Pour in a little butter (a half a cup) and spread it on the bottom of the pan.

8.      Cook the bottom part and flip to cook the bottom side the same way. Add a little more oil if it is necessary.

9.      Serve with a hot beverage!
