Recipe for Cake

Ingredients

3 cups all purpose flour

A pinch of salt

1 cup of margarine /butter

1 cup of milk

2  teaspoons vanilla extract

1 1/4 cups of sugar

2 teaspoons of baking powder

4 eggs

 

Method

Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit.

 Use a baking spray or apply a thin layer of either
margarine or butter inside the pan and sprinkle a little flour.

Cream the margarine to a
fluffy consistency and add in sugar. Cream the mixture for approximately 8
minutes or until it turns to a whitish color.

Add in the eggs, one by one
and mix well.

Combine the remaining dry
ingredients; salt, flour and baking powder by sieving them into a separate
bowl.

Add the dry ingredients into
the creamed mixture and continue mixing

Add in the vanilla essence
and mix thoroughly

Gradually add in the milk
and mix the batter until you achieve a dropping consistency.

Pour the batter into a
baking pan and bake for at most 30 minutes. When the edges have loosened from
the pan, insert a knife or toothpick to test if the cake is cooked. If the
knife comes out clean, the cake is cooked.

Remove cake from the oven
and place on a cooling rack to let it cool.

Garnish the cake to your
