Recipe for Fresh Tilapia Stew

Ingredients

1 large fish divided into three

2 medium sized onions

3 large tomatoes pureed

2 medium sized red capsicums

3 cloves of garlic

½ teaspoon crushed ginger

1 teaspoon black pepper powder

1 teaspoon white pepper powder

1 teaspoon clove powder

2 cups hot water

Salt

Method

1. Take one onion, capsicums, ginger and garlic and blend.

2. Add in the black pepper, white pepper, cloves and salt and blend again.

3. Place the cleaned fish in a bowl and add in half the marinade sauce and allow it to marinade for 3 hours.

4. Place a clean skillet on the heat and fry the remaining onion

5. When it has turned translucent, add in the pureed tomatoes, stir and lower the heat and allow the gravy to simmer for a few minutes.

6. Add in the fish and gently stir in the remaining marinade sauce.

7. Add in hot water and let the fish stew simmer for at least an hour.

8. Remove from heat and serve as desired!
